Looking for a saxophone, improvisation, music theory, or composition teacher?

My name is Aaron Kaufman-Levine and I am an improviser, saxophonist, and composer based in Chicago. My teaching philosophy is to inspire creativity, a commitment, and a love for music in my students to help them reach their goals and musical aspirations.

I have 11 years of experience teaching saxophone, improvisation, composition and music theory in Oak Park, Chicago, and Boston. I studied music at the New England Conservatory of Music where I graduated with a degree in jazz studies. You can read a little more about me here :)

I believe in establishing personalized lesson plans to meet the needs and learning styles of all my students. Iā€™m comfortable teaching all levels and ages, and I want to create a space for you to explore, learn, and develop YOUR creative voice!

Interested in taking lessons? I teach in-person in Oak Park and Chicago, and virtually on Zoom.

I look forward to getting to know what music means to you and how I can help you on your journey!
